Guido was for 8 years my senior manager and my direct line manager for much of that time. His energy and dedication in developing and maintaining a highly competent team is exceptional. While Guido has many excellent technical skills himself he gives his team the space and support to tackle the work in hand. In addition to managing a technology department Guido took on a variety of roles in influencing legislation in the fields of telecommunications and broadcasting. I have no reservation in recommending Guido both as a manager and technical expert.

I have worked directly under Guido as a member of his team and then two levels below him when he took over the Technology department. As well as being a talented programmer and an experienced manager he has taken RNID's cause to heart and worked tirelessly to improve the life chances of deaf and hard of hearing people. Guido has built up a unique knowledge of the politics, legislation, and technological opportunities surrounding hearing loss and has used this knowledge to campaign fiercely and fearlessly to ensure that next generation technology is fully inclusive of deaf and hard of hearing people. Guido knows how and when to reward hard work and through this he inspires the same loyalty and commitment that he, himself, displays.

I've worked under Guido for quite a few years now. In that time, he has never ceased to impress me, both as a programmer and as a leader. He has a vast technical knowledge and the ability to share that knowledge. He also knows how to inspire people to do their best. What more could you ask for in a boss?

Another successful year for Guido and the team. There are very few voluntary sectors organisations who can claim to have the technical nous and wider influence that RNID enjoys. Much of this reputation is a direct result of Guido’s personal contribution and strong commitment to the cause.

Guido provides exemplary management, leadership and support. Despite his own heavy workload, he always makes time for discussion and he promotes a very positive and friendly working atmosphere among the team, while driving forward the achievement of the objectives.
